Visitor's Entry Fees
| The basic entry fee covers participation in the Tournament and all tournament functions. It does not cover hotel, charter boat, or airline expenses. The 2008 Entry fees are: $2,000 for a team of 2 anglers - $2,400 for a team of 3 anglers and $2,850 for a team of 4. Non-angler fee for guest is $180. This fee entitles the non-angler to attend all social functions during the event (if you’re not sure whether or not your guests plan to attend all activities, individual tickets will be sold at the door at each function). | Hotel Package |
In addition to the registration fees, a hotel package is available to tournament anglers and their companions which includes, airport reception and round trip airport/hotel transfers, plus Four (4) NIGHTS at the hotel of your choice. Accommodations will be available at the Olé Caribe Hotel, Puerto Viejo Airport Inn & Marina, Mango Marina and Portofino Marina. Ask us about package and Special Airfares from your hometown to Venezuela so we may point you in the right direction.
Boats
Unless you're among those bringing their boats to La Guaira for the event or for the season (many anglers from the U.S. and the Caribbean do so), you will also need to charter a boat for the three (3) days of competition. There are top quality boats available in Venezuela for the tournament. For those bringing your boats, Playa Grande Yachting Club will make a limited number of slips available at their marina for the week of the tournament and these will be offered on a first come first served basis.
